Unisex and Niche Fragrance, Including Middle Eastern Houses
Shared scents that were never built for one gender: oud and amber compositions, incense and resins, bright citrus colognes, and the sweet gourmands that Gulf perfumery does particularly well. This is where our niche selection is deepest, led by Lattafa, Armaf, Gulf Orchid, Zimaya and Afnan, alongside Tom Ford and Xerjoff.
What does oud actually smell like?
Warm, resinous and slightly smoky — closer to polished wood and leather than to anything sweet. Western houses usually blend it with rose or vanilla to soften it, while traditional Gulf perfumery lets it lead. If you have never worn oud, start with a blended one before trying a pure attar.
Are the Middle Eastern brands genuine too?
Yes. Lattafa, Afnan, Armaf and Zimaya are established perfume houses with their own production and distribution — they are not copies of anything. We buy them through the same overstock channels as the French and Italian names on this page.
