How often should I wash my hair?

Less often than most people assume. Fine or oily hair may need washing every day or two, but thick, curly or coloured hair usually does better with two or three washes a week — over-washing strips the oils that keep the ends from splitting. If you colour your hair, a sulphate-free formula will hold the tone noticeably longer.
