Eau de parfum or eau de toilette — what is the difference?
Concentration. Eau de parfum carries more perfume oil, so it sits closer to the skin and lasts most of a day; eau de toilette is lighter and brighter, suits warm weather and the office, but expects a top-up. The same fragrance in both strengths can smell noticeably different, so it is worth knowing which one you liked.
