How do I stop polish chipping after two days?
Almost always the base, not the colour. Wipe the nail with remover right before painting even if it looks clean — natural oil is what the polish fails to grip. Then use a base coat, two thin colour coats rather than one thick one, and seal the free edge by running the brush along the tip.
Do nail polishes go off?
They thicken rather than spoil, and thinner restores them; what you should not do is add remover, which breaks the formula. Ours are sealed and unused, never returned stock or shop testers. Store them upright and away from a sunny windowsill, which is what actually ages a polish fastest.
