What's the difference between deodorant and anti-perspirant?
A deodorant tackles the smell by dealing with bacteria; an anti-perspirant reduces how much you sweat in the first place, usually using aluminium salts. If wetness is the issue you need an anti-perspirant; if you only want to smell fresh, a deodorant is enough. Anti-perspirants work best applied to clean, dry skin at night.
