How often should I actually use one?
Once or twice a week for clay and acid; sheet and overnight masks are gentle enough for more. The common mistake is reaching for a mask after skin is already irritated — that is exactly when to skip it. A mask is maintenance, not repair.
Sheet mask or clay — which is worth the money?
Different jobs. A sheet mask is hydration you can see the same evening, which is why it suits events; clay works on congestion over weeks. Neither replaces a moisturiser, and all stock here is sealed and in date. If you only buy one, a hydrating sheet mask is the lower-risk choice for most skin types.
